Just for Fun! : NEWS FLASH! Fierce Tropical Storm Slams Pacific Northwest! Emigrant Valley Obliterated! It began innocently enough, with a few snow flurries. Then the temperature plummeted from 44 to 29 in the space of a few hours, while blizzard conditions cut visibility to 50 meters and the snow rapidly piled deeper and deeper. I decided to brave the storm, grabbed my trusty camera, and ventured outside for what seemed like 13 minutes. You can view the devastation and hear first-hand reports from local residents right here:
